Go to account > Campus Dining > Select Old Dominion University > Login with your ODU email and link your UIN number to pay with Flex Points or Meal Exchanges.

2. Go to Account > Campus Dining
3. Select Old Dominion University from the list and fill out the prompts.
4. Go to the homepage and order from any restaurant labeled "Offers Robot Delivery".
You can pay for your Starship delivery order in the Grubhub app with Flex Points or with your credit/debit card. Meal Plan Swipes or Exchanges are not accepted for delivery. The delivery fee is $3.49.
*If a guest tries to order delivery for outside of the current delivery area, the order will fail.

• Most of the time, the robots drive autonomously, using a combination of computer vision and GPS to pinpoint their exact location to the nearest inch. They are designed to act like pedestrians, so they mainly travel on sidewalks but can cross roads.
• The robot has 12 cameras, ultrasonic sensors, radars, neural networks and more to help detect obstacles (whether that's a dog or a pedestrian/cyclist). It also has many theft-prevention measures like a securely locked lid, sirens that go off if it's picked up and the cameras which can record.
• These devices are 99% autonomous operation. The robot can be monitored remotely by a human who can take control at any time if needed. There is a staff member on campus to make sure the robots are running effectively.
• The robot weighs 40-45 pounds, travels safely at 4 mph, and it can carry up to 20 pounds.
• The robots are temperature controlled to ensure that whether your food is hot or cold, it will be delivered at just the right temperature. These robots are also equipped with cup holders and dividers to make sure that nothing is spilled on its way to you. And they are cleaned and sanitized before every delivery.
Starship is an American company headquartered in San Francisco, and the robots are manufactured in Europe. They are safe, green and 100% electric.
